This is the official class needed to get your Texas license to carry (Texas LTC), formally known as a concealed handgun license (Texas CHL). Once you enroll you can take the class at your own pace, 24/7 on any device including your smartphone. It’s 4 hours long but you can take it a little at a time or all at once, up to you. Your progress will be saved each session so you can pick up where you left off.

Optical enhancers are not allowed. Only live ammunition may be used during training and qualification. Target marking cartridges are not permitted.

This online course is designed to give the student the Theory based information to successfully pass the Private Security Board Level III written examination.
On September 1, 2017, House Bill 1508 (85th Leg., Reg. Sess.) became effective, introducing new requirements for educational training programs that prepare individuals for an initial occupational license. This includes Level III and Level IV training schools, as well as guard companies offering in-house Level II training, such as the PSP Level II Certification Course.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
This course is after you take the Level III part 1 online course.

This is a minimum of 8 hour course including Classroom, defensive tactics, handcuffing and Firearms qualification.
Firearms qualification can be with a handgun only or handgun and shotgun. You will need to supply your own handgun and ammunition. If ammunition is available it can be purchased at the shooting range. NOTE: Shotgun certification is optinal.
Handgun and shotgun are available for rent upon request. The Range Fee is covered in the cost of the class.
